LDR 110 Leading for Social Change 3 Credits. 3 Lecture Hours. 0 Lab Hour.

A course that introduces students to social justice, activism, and leadership for meaningful change. Through development of a micro-activism plan, students explore how small actions can create a larger impact in their communities. Topics include: social movements, identity and privilege in leadership, the Social Change Model of Leadership Development, and strategies for effective advocacy.
Prerequisites: Placement into ENG 101A
