RN to BSN Completion Program (NURB)
The RN to BSN Completion Program provides an efficient and affordable option for registered nurses without a baccalaureate degree to earn the degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). A BSN nurse is well prepared to meet the complex challenges of today's healthcare environment.
The RN to BSN Completion Program builds on the foundation of the nurse's pre-licensure program and success on the NCLEX-RN examination. The program can be completed In three semesters, although many students may choose flexible part-time options to balance their educational program with their professional and personal life.

RN to BSN Completion Program (NURB)
- Integrate knowledge from the arts and sciences, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice into the design, implementation, and evaluation of patient-centered care for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations across the continuum of healthcare.
- Utilize information systems and technology in conjunction with written, verbal, and nonverbal methods, to communicate about, collaborate on, and improve care decisions.
- Apply collaborative leadership and systems management skills when leading teams and when functioning as a member of healthcare interdisciplinary teams to achieve safe and cost-effective care and quality outcomes.
- Engage in learning-centered experiences and activities consistent with scope of practice and nursing standards that address the social determinants of health, reduce health disparities. and incorporate cultural sensitivity.
- Integrate the concepts of population-based nursing to manage alterations in health, promote wellness, and reduce health disparities for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.

A course on the role of the RN in the healthcare system, including cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills. Topics include: academic success skills, communication, math, health and wellness, cultural awareness, regulatory guidelines, safety, patient education, and basic nursing skills.
