Ohio Transfer 36 Certificate (OTMC)
The Ohio Transfer 36 (previously named "Ohio Transfer Module") is a set of general education courses recognized by the state of Ohio as transferable to any public institution of higher education.
Students earning an associate's degree in an Applied Science or Applied Business field who plan to continue in a bachelor's degree program can add the Ohio Transfer 36 Certificate to provide a complete set of transferable general education courses.
Students work with an advisor to ensure that the courses chosen for the Ohio Transfer 36 Certificate meet the needs of the institution where the student will complete their bachelor's degree.
Some institutions will accept the Ohio Transfer 36 as a "block credential," allowing students to transfer to a bachelor's degree program with all general education courses considered completed.
